Founded in 2010, LiveWell was created with a clear mission: to provide exceptional, person-centered care for older adults in a warm, supportive environment. What began as a provider of memory care-focused residential homes has evolved into a comprehensive care organization offering both in-home services and family care homes throughout the Triangle region of North Carolina.

Our Story
Unlike traditional large-scale facilities, LiveWell operates small, residential-style homes designed to feel like family environments. These intimate settings accommodate 6 residents each, offering a high caregiver-to-resident ratio and a warm, personalized atmosphere. LiveWell also provides both full-time and part-time In-Home Care services including personal care assistance, medication reminders, companionship, and wellness support, allowing seniors to maintain independence in the comfort of their own homes. Founded in 2010, the organization entered a new phase of growth in 2023 under CEO and President Michael Brosie, whose business expertise has strengthened its presence in the community.

LiveWell’s defining strength is its focus on comprehensive memory care. Programs follow best practices in cognitive health, behavior management, and emotional support. Each resident or in-home client receives a tailored care plan with 24/7 licensed nursing support, help with grooming, bathing, diabetic or incontinence care, plus nutritious meals, housekeeping, and laundry.
For families wishing to keep loved ones at home, the Live-In Care Program provides an affordable and compassionate alternative. Small teams of caregivers rotate several days at a time, ensuring steady, personalized care.
Many families prefer Live-In Care over traditional 24/7 hourly services. Comfort is the main reason—nothing compares to the familiarity of home. Loved ones often ask not to be placed in nursing homes, yet their needs can exceed what relatives can manage, and hourly in-home care quickly becomes costly.
